Klein surprise-releases 12-track album My Own Fairytale
Klein has surprise-released a new album, My Own Fairytale. The London-based artist shared the 12-track set on 28 September 2026 with no advance singles or rollout.
The album was released through her Parkwuud Entertainment label, according to Pitchfork. Clash lists Roc Nation as distributor. The full tracklist is published on Bandcamp.
The set is mostly instrumental. It has been described as Klein's take on a dark Disney soundtrack. The sound brings together spectral ambient, high-drama classical and the noise guitar heard on her 2025 album Sleep With a Cane.
One song is a collaboration. Siren Reloaded features violinist and composer Sasha Scott. Scott co-wrote and arranged the track for the London Sinfonietta.
Klein has also released a music video for Man in the Mirror. It sits at track 10 on the album. Short and direct. The video gives listeners one visual way in.
The running order opens with Forever Yours, Princess of the Souf and Spiritual Warfare. Then come C Thru Me, Suspect and Treasure. The second half runs from Siren Reloaded through The Illuminati Ends Now, True Blood, Man in the Mirror, Bridge the Gap and Promise to Come Home. Bandcamp credits C Thru Me as track four and Man in the Mirror as track 10.
The album follows a YouTube-only joint EP with Mica Levi, Turn Up. An EP is a release shorter than an album, and this one was shared only on the video platform rather than across streaming services.
For fans, this means a complete record to explore at once. There was no build-up to decode. Start at track one, or start with the video.
