Xbox launches Gears of War pizza and US$60 Lancer cutter

Xbox is selling a Gears of War pizza — and a US$60 rifle-shaped cutter to slice it.
Xbox announced the collaboration with Prince St. Pizza on 28 September 2026 to promote Gears of War: E-Day, the next entry in Microsoft's shooter series. The deal centres on two products: a limited-edition pizza and a collectable cutter modelled on the series' signature weapon. Xbox
The pizza is called the Emergence Pie. It is themed around E-Day and built with spicy vodka red sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage and spicy Italian chilli crisp. The flavour profile leans hot and meaty, with the chilli crisp adding extra heat to a pepperoni-and-sausage base. GameSpot
It costs US$46 before taxes or delivery fees for home delivery. It is a limited-edition run, on sale through 1 November at Prince St. Pizza locations across the U.S. and in Toronto, Canada. Every pie comes with a code to unlock a pizza emblem inside Gears of War: E-Day, a small custom image players can display in the game.
The second item is the Prototype Lancer pizza-cutter. Prince St. Pizza lists it online as the "Limited Edition Gears of War Prototype Lancer Pizza Cutter". Prince St. Pizza The shop describes it as built around a heavy, unmodified Prototype Lancer frame, with a stainless steel blade and a handle shaped to feel like holding the in-game gun.
It is priced at US$60. It also comes with an in-game pizza emblem, giving collectors the same digital bonus as the pizza itself. In practice, it is a working kitchen tool dressed up as game merchandise.
E-Day itself is close. Gears of War: E-Day has a release date of 6 October for PC and Xbox Series X|S. It will be available at launch through Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's subscription service that offers a catalogue of games for a monthly fee. A US$100 premium edition lets buyers start playing five days early, on 1 October.
What makes this stand out is how literal it is. Many game tie-ins stop at a box or a download code. This one hands you dinner and the tool to cut it.
