Comedian Kyle Prue will launch a weekly advice podcast on 6 October. He has partnered with iHeartMedia and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players on Get Worse with Kyle Prue. The weekly show, meaning a new episode is released each week, pairs Prue with the audio company and Ferrell's production label. It will arrive with two episodes on day one, as reported by Deadline.

The programme is an advice show driven by write-in questions. Listeners send in problems, and Prue responds on air. He does it in conversation with comics, philosophers, criminals, experts and others. The result is part interview, part response slot, with a new pairing each week.

The launch gives listeners two conversations at once. Episode one features comedians Hope Carew and Andrew Stier, who join Prue to tackle the opening questions. Episode two features actor, writer and comedian Sophia Sherman. She appears alongside special guest Count Dracula, in a booking that signals the show's taste for the unexpected.

The bench runs deeper. Additional guests announced so far include Kel Cripe, Grant Gibbs and Vinny Thomas. Behind the scenes, Max Michalsky and Aaron Klein serve as co-producers on the series, according to Deadline.

Prue arrives with credits in short-form comedy and books. He created the viral series How to Piss Off Men, which amassed hundreds of millions of views across social platforms. He then adapted the idea into a handbook that debuted as an instant New York Times Bestseller. He is also the author of the Feud Trilogy, a series of young adult fantasy novels, and the creator and star of the web series Rabbit, meaning a show made primarily for online release.

What makes this stand out is the breadth of the interview table. Comics and experts are familiar voices for advice podcasts, meaning shows built around listener questions. Philosophers, criminals and Count Dracula are less familiar. That contrast sits at the centre of the format.

Two episodes land on 6 October, followed by a weekly release. Will Pearson is President of iHeartPodcasts, which is backing the show with Big Money Players. Prue is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, CAA, and Lichter, Grossman, Nichols.
