The Besties Head to Tubi for Halloween Escape Series

YouTube duo Mackenzie Turner and Lael Hansen are moving The Besties to streaming with a Halloween series for Tubi.
The Besties in Haunted High will debut globally on October 28, exclusively on Tubi, according to Deadline. The order is for six 30-minute episodes. That timing puts it out three days before Halloween.
The story traps Turner and Hansen inside their school's empty Halloween dance. To get out, they must complete six games. A supernatural figure is hunting them while they play.
Pocket.watch produced the series. Turner serves as an executive producer alongside Albie Hecht and Chris M. Williams. It was co-created by Turner, Hecht and Carin Davis, based on an original concept by Turner. Hecht, who is Pocket.watch's chief content officer, also directed the show. Williams is the company's chief executive and founder.
The series builds on an existing online audience. Turner has 7.8 million YouTube subscribers and Hansen has 1.9 million subscribers. Their joint channel, The Besties, has 3.3 million subscribers and forms the basis for the show, according to Deadline.
For fans, this means a longer adventure in one place. Six games. Six episodes. One night to escape.
The commission sits inside a wider slate of creator-led projects at Pocket.watch. The company is producing Love Diana: Music Hunters with Kids Diana Show in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios for launch on Prime Video in January 2027. It is also producing a JJ & Mikey holiday special with gaming duo Maizen for premiere later this year, according to Deadline.
A third project, Captain Future Pirate: Chedda Quest, brings together DeeDee Show, Kaven Adventures, Caleb Kids Show, Kamden Boi & Kyraboo, and My PB&J. It is set to debut on Ryan and Friends PLUS, Pocket.watch's subscription streaming service for children.
