Victoria Beckham is singing in the studio again.

A photo posted on Sept. 28 shows her singing vocals while reading lyrics from her phone during a session with her son Cruz Beckham, Billboard reported on Sept. 29.

Cruz, 21, is the youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham. He shared the image from his Instagram account “cruzbeckham” on Sept. 28, 2026, and captioned it: “Yeah we got posh back in the studio ;)”

The picture is straightforward. Victoria stands at a microphone. Her phone is in her hand. The lyrics are on the screen.

At the time of indexing, that Sept. 28 post had collected 20,000 likes and 425 comments. The figure is a snapshot, not a running total. It captures the early response in the hours after the post went live.

Victoria joined that response herself. She replied in the comments with four laughing-crying emojis. She gave no additional comment on the session.

Cruz is building his own path in music. He recently released his debut EP, an extended play record that holds more songs than a single but fewer than a full album, People reported. The studio post puts his mother in his working space, rather than the other way round.

That detail matters because Victoria has not released solo music since her 2003 double A-side single “Let Your Head Go/This Groove.” A double A-side is a single where two songs are promoted together, with neither listed as the secondary track. Twenty-three years have passed since that release.

As of publication, it was unclear what project Victoria was recording vocals for. No label, artist statement, filing or chart announcement has confirmed a new single, an album feature or any other release. That is the full public record so far.

For fans keeping count, the gap explains the noise. A short caption and four emojis do not answer the main question. They only confirm that a microphone was on.
