Tom Hollander Joins AMC's The Audacity for Season 2 as Tech Billionaire

Tom Hollander has joined the second season of AMC's The Audacity.
He takes a recurring role, meaning he will appear in multiple episodes without holding a full-time place in the main cast. He will play Big Tim, a tech billionaire who leads a company called Cupertino. The casting was reported by Deadline.
Filming is under way. Production on Season 2 is now happening in Vancouver, BC, where crews are at work on the new episodes. AMC is pointing to a 2027 premiere for the season. The network has not yet finalised an exact air date beyond that year, as reported by Deadline.
The hire adds a new figure from the tech world to the ensemble. Big Tim arrives described as a chief executive, which gives the writers a business leader to place alongside the returning characters. Viewers will have to wait for trailers or episode details to see how often he appears and where his story fits.
The series comes from Jonathan Glatzer, its creator and writer, who also serves as executive producer, meaning he oversees the creative direction of the programme from script to screen. Gina Mingacci serves as executive producer alongside him. The show is an AMC Studios production, with AMC Global Media holding worldwide rights, which covers how the series is made and distributed around the world.
Hollander is one of several confirmed Season 2 casting moves. Miriam Shor has joined in a heavily recurring role as Randy Flemming, a term the business uses for a part that appears often without being a full-time regular. Jess McLeod, who plays Harper, has been upped to series regular, meaning a full-time place in the main cast and billing. Usman Ally has also joined the main cast as a series regular, playing a character called Byron Zandani.
For fans, this means the shape of the new season is becoming clearer while cameras are still rolling. Returning faces are being joined by new ones, with Big Tim set to bring a tech-world presence into the mix. The 2027 window gives the team time to finish filming, editing and delivery before any firm launch date is announced.
