JK Media has produced the first original microdramas made in the United States for ViXMicrO, TelevisaUnivision's short-form platform. The two Spanish-language series are slated to bow in October 2026 in Mexico and the US. Each runs to 60 episodes of 90 seconds apiece, according to Variety.

ViXMicrO specialises in short-form scripted series designed for vertical, mobile-first viewing. That means fiction shot to be watched upright on a phone, in bursts of a minute or two. Microdramas tell one longer story in very short instalments that stack quickly. Here the maths is plain. Sixty 90-second episodes equal 90 minutes per series.

The titles are Trapped with the Enemy (Encerrada con el enemigo) and Threatened Infidelity (Infidelidad amenazada). Both were shot in Los Angeles. Both will be available to viewers in Mexico and the US, giving the launch a cross-border footprint from the start.

Fernanda Romero stars in both productions. She leads two different ensembles across the two shoots. On Threatened Infidelity, she appears alongside Suanny Serpas and comedian Concrete. On Trapped with the Enemy, Liliana Arriaga makes a special appearance.

The two shoots share much of the same creative team. The series are executive produced by Sebastian Jimenez and Flavio Morales, meaning they oversee creative and business decisions on the shows. Jimenez is founder and chief executive of JK Media Group. Morales previously served as an executive producer on HBO Max's Like Water for Chocolate. Writer Sergio Jablon is credited on both microdramas, according to Variety.

Same city. Same star. Same writer. Same executive producers. That shared setup points to a tight, serialised production model, with short episodes made efficiently for a phone screen.

The order builds on JK Media's relationship with TelevisaUnivision. The company is the producer behind Sin Filtro, an unscripted celebrity show, meaning a programme without a script that follows real people. It recently launched Ninel Conde: Sin Filtro with ViX.

For viewers, this means fiction built for small gaps in the day. One episode fits into a coffee queue. A full series can be finished in an evening, without a television set.
