Kali Malone has added US dates in April in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Francisco to her tour itinerary and released a new single, "My Eve My Dawn". The song is taken from her album "Burning Song", which is due on 30 October via Ideologic Organ, Pitchfork reported.

The new shows are scheduled for 8 April at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and 10 April at First Congregational Church in Los Angeles. The run then moves east to Brooklyn, with two nights at First Unitarian Church on 12 and 13 April. That gives fans in Brooklyn a choice of two separate evenings.

Those dates sit alongside a festival appearance at Big Ears in Knoxville, Tennessee, listed for 1 to 4 April. The April run is organised around churches and a cathedral, with Brooklyn as the closing stop. The full itinerary brings together the festival date and the three newly announced cities.

"My Eve My Dawn" follows "Heavy With Fruit", which was presented as the first single from the album. A single, in industry terms, is a song released on its own ahead of the full record. LP and CD editions of "Burning Song" have been listed for preorder via Ideologic Organ, according to posts on Malone's Facebook page, which allow buyers to reserve physical copies before release day.

"Burning Song" is the solo follow-up to Malone's 2024 album "All Life Long". A follow-up simply means the next full record after the previous one. It has also been described as her first album of solo compositions in two years by The Line of Best Fit, a gap that dates back to the 2024 release.

The album features performances with Stephen O'Malley and cellist Lucy Railton alongside Malone. A collaboration of this kind means the guests perform on the record with the main artist. The three previously worked together on the 2023 album "Does Spring Hide Its Joy", which gives listeners a reference point for their earlier work as a trio.

Malone is a Stockholm-based composer. Railton is a cellist who has collaborated with Malone before, including on "Does Spring Hide Its Joy". The new record is being released through Ideologic Organ, the label named for the October release.

For fans, this means a clear sequence: new songs now, the full album in late October, then live dates in the spring. The two-night stand in Brooklyn closes the newly announced run. Tour listings and preorder information are available through the label and the artist's own channels.
