Freya Skye Releases 'Bad Taste', Extends Stars Align Tour

Freya Skye has released 'bad taste' as a single and extended her sold-out Stars Align Tour with more international dates.
The studio version arrived on September 16, 2026, with the official music video scheduled to follow on Sept. 17, according to Just Jared. The video was listed to premiere at 9:00 AM on her official YouTube channel. It carries a © 2026 Hollywood Records, Inc. credit.
The song has a long live history. Skye first performed 'Bad Taste' at her debut headlining show in New York in December 2025, Billboard reported. Just voice and guitar. She was joined only by her guitarist Donnie.
It did not appear on her 'Stardust' EP, which was released in February. Skye told Billboard she recorded the studio vocal in full takes, singing the song from top to bottom rather than cutting individual lines repeatedly. That choice keeps the close, live feel of the first performance.
The release also comes with a physical edition. 'Bad Taste' received a pressing on 7-inch vinyl, the small format that typically holds one single per side.
On the road, Skye had already been playing 'bad taste' during the Stars Align Tour before the studio version came out. Her channel includes a version titled "bad taste (Stars Align Tour: Live from Melbourne)". She was set to return to the road for the next leg of the tour the weekend after the Sept. 17 video arrival.
The extended run is organised around further international dates announced on September 16. Her official tour page lists a January 18, 2027 show at Auditorio BB in Mexico City and a January 21, 2027 show at Royal Center in Bogota among the dates on sale.
For fans, this means the set list and the catalogue are now in step. A song that started as a stripped-back moment in New York has a studio recording, a video and a vinyl pressing, just as the tour grows to meet it.
