Tara Clerkin Trio line up 21-date USA and Canada tour for early 2027

Bristol three-piece Tara Clerkin Trio will tour the United States and Canada in January and early February 2027.
The run is billed as USA/Canada 2027 and follows the LP Somewhere Good, released in June, according to Pitchfork. The group is currently touring the United Kingdom behind the album.
The trio consists of Tara Clerkin, Sunny Joe Paradisos and Patrick Benjamin. Listings for the UK leg include an 19 October show at Where Else? in Margate, followed by two nights at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London on 20 and 21 October, according to the band's Bandcamp page.
The North American run starts on the east coast. It opens on 8 January in Washington, D.C. at Songbyrd, then moves to Carrboro, North Carolina, at the ArtsCenter on 9 January and Atlanta, Georgia, at Aisle 5 on 10 January. The band then heads to Texas for a 12 January show at the 29th Street Ballroom in Austin.
The western leg covers Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. The group plays Phoenix at Valley Bar on 14 January, San Diego at Soda Bar on 15 January and Los Angeles at Zebulon on 16 January. Then come San Francisco at Rickshaw Stop on 18 January and Arcata at The Miniplex on 19 January, followed by Portland at Polaris Hall on 21 January, Seattle at Baba Yaga on 22 January and Vancouver at Fox Cabaret on 23 January.
The closing stretch returns to the Midwest, Ontario, Quebec and the north-east. It resumes on 27 January in Minneapolis at 7th St Entry, then plays Columbus at Rumba Cafe on 29 January and Detroit at Moondog Cafe on 30 January. The final week includes Toronto at Longboat Hall on 31 January and Montreal at La Sala Rossa on 2 February, before Boston at Deep Cuts on 3 February, Kingston at Tubby's on 4 February, Philadelphia at First Unitarian Church on 5 February and Brooklyn at Pioneer Works on 6 February.
For fans, this means a full coast-to-coast itinerary. Twenty-one dates take the band from D.C. to Brooklyn, with stops in clubs, arts centres and small halls along the way.
