ID to air all three parts of Aileen Wuornos docuseries in one night

Investigation Discovery will air all three parts of Unmasking a Monster: Aileen Wuornos back-to-back on 30 September from 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The show is a three-part docuseries, meaning a non-fiction story told across three episodes, centred on serial killer Aileen Wuornos, according to The Hollywood Reporter. All three parts premiere consecutively on the same night. That is a binge-style rollout on linear television, where episodes usually arrive one week at a time.
Viewers get the full story in one sitting. The broadcast runs from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT on ID, the channel confirmed in a preview posted on Investigation Discovery. Three hours. No week-long wait between episodes.
The production recreates Wuornos with an AI-mask tool. Actress Morag Peacock performs the role, and the tool is used to make her look like Wuornos, The Hollywood Reporter reported. It is a digital face technique, applied in post-production rather than through prosthetics alone.
For viewers, this means the series mixes archive-style documentary with staged scenes. Peacock appears as Wuornos in re-enactments shaped by that face mapping. The approach keeps one performer at the centre while changing how she appears on screen.
There are several ways to watch. The premiere is on the ID cable channel. It will also stream on HBO Max, giving streaming subscribers access after the television bow.
Live access is available through services that carry television channels over the internet. They include DirecTV, Philo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Viewers will need a subscription or trial that includes ID in its channel line-up.
What makes this stand out is the scheduling. A three-episode true-crime series would often play out across three weeks. Here ID is stacking the whole run in one evening, so audiences can follow the case from start to finish without a break.
