The Avalanches Announce Six-Date Australia Tour for 2027

The Avalanches will play six concerts across Australia in February and March 2027, starting with two nights at Perth Festival.
The run was confirmed for next year, with the band due to travel from west to east through festival stages, music halls and outdoor sites, according to Billboard.
The tour opens in Perth. Listings place the first show on Saturday, February 27 at East Perth Power Station as part of Perth Festival, with a second Perth Festival show on Sunday, February 28, according to Rolling Stone Australia.
From there the group heads to Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday, March 4, then to Melbourne on Friday, March 5. That Melbourne date is billed as Live At The Gardens, with earlier listings placing it at the Royal Botanic Garden, according to The Note.
The run also includes Brisbane's On The Banks and a date at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. Full dates and venues are listed on the band's official Shows page.
HAAi will support on the Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney dates. A support act is the artist who plays before the headline act.
General onsale starts Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 9am local time. The tour is presented by Takumi, which is also named in a pre-order and pre-save link on the band's homepage.
For fans, this means a rare chance to see the Melbourne electronic group in large outdoor settings as well as rooms. The Sydney Forecourt and the Melbourne gardens dates put them open-air. Perth gets two chances first.
