Prime Video renews No One Will Miss Us for Season 3

Prime Video has ordered a third season of No One Will Miss Us, the Mexican YA drama also known as Nadie Nos Va a Extrañar. The renewal means the story of its outsider teens will continue beyond its current run. The news was first reported by Deadline following an industry panel in Spain.
The announcement was made at IberSeries in Madrid. It came from Camila Misas, Head of Local Originals, Mexico for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios. She spoke during an Amazon MGM Studios panel at the event. The panel focused on the company's Spanish-language originals.
Production on the new season is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. That timetable points to a shoot starting between January and March next year. No premiere date has been given yet. Prime Video has not announced an episode count or release window.
Silvana Aguirre will serve as showrunner on Season 3, the lead writer-producer who oversees the story and day-to-day production. Samuel Kishi will direct the season. Scripts will be led by Adriana Pelusi and Gibrán Portela. The team will pick up the story created for the first two seasons.
The series stars Nicolás Haza, Camila Calónico, Virgilio Delgado and Macarena Oz. YA stands for young adult, meaning the show centres on teenage characters and school life. Set in the 1990s, it follows a group of outsiders who earn money by doing homework and class assignments for other high-school students. In Season 2, the four leads entered their senior year while coping with the loss of Memo, according to the synopsis on Prime Video.
The series is produced by The Immigrant, the Mexico-based production company minority-backed by Fremantle. Minority-backed means Fremantle holds a minority stake in the company. The show has featured in Prime Video's Top 10 in Mexico. That chart ranks the most-watched titles on the service in the country.
For viewers, this means the class stays together a little longer. The story is not ending with senior year. What makes this stand out for regular viewers is continuity. The same production company returns. The central cast at the heart of the school story is in place. Cameras roll next year.
