Nicolas Cage and Michael Sheen to lead hacker thriller C.L.A.Y.

Nicolas Cage and Michael Sheen will star in C.L.A.Y., a psychological cyber-thriller about hackers set to shoot in London in November 2026, as reported by Deadline.
The film follows a young computer prodigy who is pulled into an underground hacker group called C.L.A.Y., short for Clowns Laughing At You. It is described as a psychological cyber-thriller, meaning a tense drama built around technology, hacking and mind games rather than straight action.
The project comes from Simon Afram, who wrote the script and will also direct and produce. It will be his first time directing a feature film.
Cage and Sheen head a five-strong cast announced for the film. The other names are Jordi Mollà, Emilio Sakraya and Adrian Topol, with Topol also serving as a producer.
Production is organised through Clay Pictures Ltd. The credited producers are Afram alongside Edward Kahl, Reza Roohi and Topol, according to Deadline.
What makes this stand out is the pairing at the top. Cage is one of Hollywood's most recognisable screen presences, while Sheen is widely known for character-led roles across film and television. Here they meet inside a hacker story led by a first-time director, with London locked in as the shoot location from November.
