Kylie Kelce Apologises to Princess of Wales Over Title Mix-Up

Kylie Kelce has apologised to Catherine, Princess of Wales, for getting her title wrong when she invited her on her podcast.
The apology aired on the 1 October episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, the podcast Kelce hosts E! News. The 34-year-old said she had not realised the wording would cause offence and that she will refer to her as the Princess of Wales going forward People.
Kelce is married to Jason Kelce and is the sister-in-law of Travis Kelce HELLO!. She hosts Not Gonna Lie, full title Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce.
The mix-up dates to 24 September, when Kelce used the podcast to invite Catherine on as a guest HELLO!. On that occasion she addressed her as “Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.”
Kelce corrected herself on the show. She delivered the apology on Not Gonna Lie The Daily Beast. She said she was unaware the earlier form was offensive. She will get it right next time.
She had pitched the invitation as a natural fit. Kelce said she and the Princess of Wales have field hockey and children in common HELLO!. It was a direct appeal, fan to future guest.
The 1 October episode also featured Kerry Washington as a guest People. There is already a Kelce podcast connection to the royal family. Prince William has appeared on New Heights, the podcast hosted by Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce HELLO!.
What makes this stand out is the way Kelce handled it. She did not leave the error hanging. She returned to the same microphone and fixed it in plain language.
