Drake has put four songs from his short film FOMO onto streaming services, packaging them as a deluxe edition of his HABIBTI album. The songs were first heard in FOMO.

The four-track extension arrived on streaming services on Friday, Oct. 2, after Drake told viewers on a Kick livestream earlier that week that the film songs would be released properly, according to Billboard. A deluxe edition, in plain terms, is an expanded version of an existing album with extra tracks added to the original tracklist.

Two of the four additions are collaborations with Don Toliver. The first is “Cold Shoulder,” which lists Toliver and Yebba as featured guests. The second is “Solar Eclipse,” with a guest appearance by Toliver.

The rest of the update is rounded out by two solo cuts. They are “Quebec” and “Classic Pt. 2,” an extended version of “Classic” from the original HABIBTI.

“Solar Eclipse” carries another credit that listeners will notice. It interpolates “Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley, which means it reuses part of that song’s melody or writing in a new recording. Song interpolations are common in popular music and are credited to the original writers.

For fans, this means the new songs can now be saved, replayed and added to playlists. Until this release, they had only been heard inside the film itself.

FOMO drew heavily on HABIBTI for its sound. Most of the short film was soundtracked by records from HABIBTI, the R&B project Drake released in May, according to Rolling Stone. The film also served as a preview space, debuting new collaborations with Toliver and Yeat.

One of those previews has already appeared elsewhere. The Drake and Yeat collaboration “Miss My Dawg,” heard in FOMO, was included on Yeat’s COCOON EP in September. An EP, or extended play, is a shorter collection than a full album. That song is not part of the four-track HABIBTI deluxe.

FOMO also delivered live news. Drake confirmed in the film that he plans a world tour in 2027, according to Rolling Stone.

The release builds on the May arrival of HABIBTI. All four songs are now streaming as part of the HABIBTI deluxe edition.
