Rolling Stones cast Alexander Skarsgård as Mr. Charm in new video

The Rolling Stones have released a new music video for “Mr. Charm,” with Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård in the starring role.
The clip was directed by Henry Scholfield and shot in Palmdale, California, according to Rolling Stone. Model Sara Sampaio also appears. Skarsgård spends parts of the video shirtless, playing the title character head-on.
“Mr. Charm” is a single from Foreign Tongues, the band’s 2026 album. The album came out in July via Capitol Records. The band recorded it at Metropolis Studios in London.
The release arrives alongside another track, the previously unheard “Bad Luck Hideaway.” It is a duet between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, with drums by late drummer Charlie Watts recorded during sessions at British Grove. The track was produced by Andrew Watt.
Foreign Tongues carries a long guest list. Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith and Chad Smith all appear on the album. Watts also has a special appearance on the record.
Star-led videos have become part of the album’s rollout. Anya Taylor-Joy and Charles Melton starred in the video for “Jealous Lover.” Odessa A’zion appeared in the video for “In the Stars.”
What makes this stand out is the casting pattern. The band are pairing album tracks with screen actors, giving each single its own short-form story away from the stage.
