Sony Music Publishing takes on El Reino Infantil catalogue worldwide

Sony Music Publishing will administer the complete music catalogue of El Reino Infantil worldwide.
The agreement was announced on Monday, October 5, as part of a strategic partnership with Leader Entertainment, the parent company of the children's brand, Music Business Worldwide.
Under an administration deal, a publisher handles licensing and collects royalties on behalf of the rights owners. In this case, the deal covers the full catalogue.
El Reino Infantil launched in 2011 as a Spanish-language children's entertainment brand. It now reaches more than 240 million subscribers across 64 YouTube channels.
The numbers are large. The network has amassed roughly 180 billion YouTube views since launch, including nearly 9 billion views in the first half of 2026 alone.
Its franchises include La Granja de Zenón, Bichikids, Canciones del Zoo, Familia Blu and Paco el Marinero. Content is produced and adapted in 11 languages.
The companies describe the arrangement as a long-term publishing alliance that pairs global representation and administration with a joint creative development agenda, according to Produ. It follows an earlier global publishing deal between Leader Entertainment and Kobalt, announced in 2023, CelebrityAccess reported at the time.
What makes this stand out is repetition. Children's songs are played again and again, and nine billion views in six months shows that loop in action. For songwriters and rights holders, each play is paperwork and income to track.
