London's revival of Rent is staying longer. It is now booking at the Tom Stoppard Theatre until Saturday 29 May 2027.

The extension releases 35,000 more tickets for sale, producers confirmed on 6 October, according to WhatsOnStage. The theatre is the newly rechristened Tom Stoppard Theatre in the West End, London's main commercial theatre district.

The announcement came with first-look production photos. They include a full cast photo by Pamela Raith, giving the first proper glimpse of the company on stage.

Gaten Matarazzo plays Mark Cohen. It is his West End debut, meaning his first appearance in a major London commercial production. Matarazzo is best known as a star of the series Stranger Things, as noted by Playbill.

He is currently scheduled to stay with the production until 10 January 2027. Who plays Mark after that date has not yet been confirmed.

The revival is directed by Luke Sheppard. Travis Ross plays Roger, Mark's flatmate and fellow struggling artist, as shown in The Guardian's production gallery.

For fans, this means more choice on dates. The extra tickets cover winter, spring and the start of summer next year. The run still centres on Matarazzo's limited engagement through early January.
