Les Misérables extends West End booking to October 2027

Tickets for Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre are now on sale until 2 October 2027.

Producer Cameron Mackintosh announced the further booking extension on 21 September 2026, releasing tickets for another block of performances at the West End house WhatsOnStage.

A booking extension, meaning a new period of dates put on sale, keeps the show bookable well beyond a year ahead. This one takes Boublil and Schönberg's musical into its 42nd year in London.

The date replaces the previous limit. In February 2026, Mackintosh had extended Les Misérables until Saturday 13 March 2027 Cameron Mackintosh. That block went on sale on Thursday 5 March.

That February announcement covered four West End shows. Alongside Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton and Oliver! all extended their bookings into March 2027.

Les Misérables opened in London in 1985 and has run continuously in the West End since. The production now plays the Sondheim Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, the house it has occupied since 2004.

Its reach extends beyond London. The show has been seen by 150 million people worldwide, according to its official site Les Misérables. The same site lists performances in 57 countries and in 22 languages.

For fans, this means more choice. A booking window running to October 2027 opens up school holidays, group trips and long-planned visits. It also gives visitors to London time to build a trip around a date.
