BTS have set up a picnic in a Toronto park for the return of Run BTS!, with the 26-minute episode released on Tuesday morning, Oct. 6.

The episode is titled "Inner child? A picnic? I'll think about it | BTS in Toronto EP. 1" and features all seven members — Jung Kook, V, Jimin, RM, SUGA, Jin and j-hope. Run BTS! is the group's long-running variety series, in which the members play games and take on challenges. Billboard reported the release details.

The picnic quickly turns into playtime. The group takes on Drop the Handkerchief, a chasing game played in a circle, and Red Light, Green Light, the stop-start playground game. BANGTANTV had previewed the Toronto shoot in a "BTS in Toronto Preview" clip posted on Sept. 30. BANGTANTV

Food does a lot of work here. The members eat poutine, the Canadian dish of chips with gravy and cheese curds, alongside sushi pizza. Between bites they talk about childhood picnics, recalling packed meals of eggs and soda and a shared wish for store-bought gimbap, seaweed rice rolls, rather than homemade versions.

There is a nod to history too. In the episode the group reminisces about a 2019 Toronto outing in which fans quizzed them on their own songs. That earlier visit is listed on Weverse alongside other 2019 instalments of the series.

The Toronto return was first teased as a set of new games filmed in the city, including a pickleball tournament, according to a Sept. 30 report. Billboard The full episode is streaming via BANGTANTV. Watch EP. 1

For fans, this means more Toronto to come. The next episode was scheduled to drop at 8 p.m. KST on Sunday, Oct. 11.

The release arrived about a month after BTS wrapped the North American leg of the ARIRANG world tour. Their next scheduled live date after the episode was Oct. 7 at Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru.
