Razer has launched the Wolverine V4 line of controllers for Xbox and PC competitive play.

The range is led by the wireless Wolverine V4 Pro. Both the V4 Pro and the Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition have an on-sale date of 6 October, according to a report citing launch pricing, at US$199.99 / £199.99 and US$99.99 respectively. Yahoo Tech

Speed is the pitch. Razer cites sub-1 ms response times, described as its fastest ever for the line. TechPowerUp The controllers use new capacitive thumbstick sensors for drift-resistant precision, meaning the sticks are designed to resist drifting, or registering movement when untouched. They also feature 8,000 Hz HyperPolling, a system that checks inputs 8,000 times per second, and customisable controls. Razer

The launch sits alongside a wider refresh of PC inputs. The Tartarus V2 Pro is an analog optical gaming keypad, a one-handed board that reads key presses with light, with 31 programmable controls. It offers adjustable actuation, or how far a key travels before it registers, plus a fully adjustable ergonomic wrist rest.

Keyboards follow. The Reclusa X Mini 65% is the first mechanical gaming keyboard in the new Reclusa line-up. It is hot-swappable, so switches can be changed without soldering. Razer also announced the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz analog optical esports keyboard, a slim board without a number pad, and the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz 60% keyboard, an even smaller layout, with 8,000 Hz HyperPolling.

The mouse update centres on choice. The Naga V3 Pro ships with three swappable magnetic side plates and up to 23 programmable buttons. It uses HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, Razer’s scroll wheel that can switch modes and tilt for side inputs.

Audio and extras round out the announcements. The Mako line brings compact desktop gaming speakers in Mako and Mako X models. Razer also announced the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed – Kuromi Edition earbuds, and a collaboration between Razer Axon and Pony Canyon bringing KAIJU GIRL CARAMELISE anime wallpaper to Razer Axon, its wallpaper platform.

For esports, Razer’s BlackShark headsets are the Official Headset Partner for BLAST Premier across 12 events through 2028.

What makes this stand out is breadth. For players, this means one drop covers the controller, keyboard, mouse and audio sides of a set-up, with the V4 line aimed squarely at low-latency play on console and PC.
