Into the Woods releases new photos for West End transfer

New production photographs have been released for Into the Woods in the West End ahead of its official opening night at the Noël Coward Theatre.
The images were published on 7 October 2026 and give a first look at Jordan Fein’s staging in its new home, according to WhatsOnStage.
The show is a transfer, meaning the production moves from its original venue into a commercial West End house. It premiered at the Bridge Theatre in 2025. The musical is by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, with direction by Fein.
John Dagleish leads the West End company as the Baker. Laura Pitt-Pulford plays the Baker’s Wife. Kate Fleetwood plays the Witch.
The Bridge production arrived in the West End with awards behind it. It won Best Ensemble or Cast and Best Designer at the Critics’ Circle Awards. It then won Best Musical Revival and Best Lighting Design at the Olivier Awards, the awards run by the Society of London Theatre.
The design team has carried over with the show. Tom Scutt is set and costume designer. Aideen Malone is lighting designer. Scutt previously designed set and costume for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, while Fein previously directed Fiddler on the Roof.
The West End run is scheduled from 22 September 2026 to 9 January 2027, according to West End Theatre. It is presented by London Theatre Company at the Noël Coward Theatre.
The running time is about 2 hours and 40 minutes including an interval. Tickets are listed from £18 via Official London Theatre, with £25 tickets for under-30s advertised by the box office.
For fans, this means a chance to see an award-winning revival inside a traditional West End house. The run is booking into the new year.
