Karen Spencer shares first glimpse of £3.6m home near Althorp

Karen Spencer, the former wife of Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer, has shared the first update from her £3.6 million home in Northamptonshire. The post appeared on Instagram. The house sits 10 miles from Althorp House, Earl Spencer's ancestral home. HELLO!
The update was a single photograph. It showed a pink-sky sunset over the new property's lush grounds, with a pair of wrought-iron gates in the foreground. Spencer said the picture was sent to her by a friend.
That friend is staying at the house for a few months. Spencer is travelling during that period. She did not give further details of the trip.
The move closes a long change of address. Spencer and Earl Spencer — Earl Spencer is a hereditary title in the peerage, held here by Charles Spencer — confirmed they were separating in April 2024. She left Althorp in January 2025. She had bought the Northamptonshire house by August 2025 and moved in two months later.
The new house has six bedrooms. It also has a heated swimming pool, a tennis court, a gym and outdoor dining areas. Spencer is Earl Spencer's third wife and is now described as his ex-wife. Yahoo
In her own posts, Spencer said she has been "having fun making her house a home". She also said all the animals "are settling in nicely" in the quiet Northamptonshire countryside. She had earlier described the move after the split as starting a "new chapter". Tatler
She had planned to welcome new additions at the house for Easter. HELLO!
For fans, this means a first proper look at where she has landed. No tour. Just sunset, gates and green fields.
