Paul McCartney releases three new songs for Dungeon Lane Special Edition

Paul McCartney has released three new songs, “City Fox,” “One Night Stand” and “Chelsea Boots.”
All three date from the same sessions. They were cut with producer Andrew Watt during the making of The Boys of Dungeon Lane, according to Pitchfork reporting on 7 October.
The songs will also feature on a new expanded edition of the album. An expanded edition is a reissue that adds extra tracks alongside the original album.
That edition contains a fourth additional recording. It is a “flip mix” of “Home to Us,” McCartney’s duet with fellow former Beatle Ringo Starr.
The mix reverses the two parts. The swap puts Starr on the lead vocal line first sung by McCartney, with McCartney taking over Starr’s original part.
The package is titled The Boys of Dungeon Lane Special Edition. It is due for release on 9 December, according to an announcement on PaulMcCartney.com published on 30 September.
The announcement describes four additional recordings in total. That matches the three new songs plus the “flip mix” now in circulation.
Watt worked as producer on the main album sessions. His recent credits include work with younger rock and pop acts as well as established artists, and he co-wrote material with McCartney for the project.
For fans, this means more music from the same period rather than a separate project. The three songs extend the session archive, while the reversed duet offers a direct comparison of how the vocal exchange sits each way round.
