Majo Aguilar to make Auditorio Nacional debut on Nov. 13 with new album Caprichos

Majo Aguilar will play Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional for the first time on Nov. 13.
The date puts one of regional Mexican music's most watched young voices on the country's best-known concert stage. Aguilar confirmed details of the show to Billboard, which reported the plans on Oct. 7.
The concert is built for scale. It is expected to run at least two hours and will feature both mariachi, the trumpet-and-string ensemble central to ranchera, and banda, the brass-and-percussion sound from the Pacific coast. Seven guests are confirmed for the night, though their names have not yet been announced.
Aguilar will arrive with new music. Her album Caprichos is due out on Nov. 12, one day before the show. The set includes her versions of “A Traves del Vaso,” “Asi Fue” and “Se Me Olvido Otra Vez,” alongside two original songs she wrote herself.
It caps a busy year. Aguilar is the granddaughter of ranchera singer Antonio Aguilar. She won female artist of the year at Premio Lo Nuestro in February 2026 and picked up two nominations at the HEAT Latin Music Awards, which honour Latin music talent.
She has also signed an exclusive global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group Mexico, which handles song rights and royalties on behalf of songwriters. Separately, she will record a track for the third volume of Tributo al Rey Vicente Fernandez, the tribute series dedicated to the late ranchera star.
Aguilar already knows the Auditorio stage from the other side of the footlights. She was among the invited guests at Julieta Venegas’s concert at the venue in June. In September, she debuted as a host at the winners ceremony for México Canta 2026, the talent contest focused on regional music.
For fans, this means a long night with two live traditions and a new record heard live almost immediately.
Tickets for the Nov. 13 show are on sale through the venue’s website, according to the Auditorio Nacional listing. The listing gives an 8:30 p.m. start time, with Preferente A seats at 1,700 pesos and Preferente B seats at 1,500 pesos.
