Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2027 will stream live on Disney+ for the first time alongside its live broadcast on ABC.

ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced the simulcast, meaning the same live show on broadcast and streaming at once, ahead of the December countdown, as reported by Variety.

Ryan Seacrest will return as host. He will be joined by singer Rita Ora as co-host from Times Square in New York.

Julianne Hough and former NFL star Rob Gronkowski will return for pre-taped segments from Las Vegas. Comedian and creator Druski joins the line-up from Chicago.

The expansion follows a bumper year. The 2026 edition ran for eight hours, making it the longest telecast in the show's more than 50-year history.

It drew 30.01 million viewers at the midnight moment when 2025 became 2026, based on live-plus-three-day figures, which count live viewing plus three days of catch-up. Across the 11:30 p.m. ET to 12:28 a.m. ET window, it averaged 19.606 million viewers with a 5.00 rating in adults aged 18 to 49, a measure of the share of that age group watching.

The 2027 special is produced by Dick Clark Productions. Ryan Seacrest, Michael Dempsey, Jay Penske and Barry Adelman serve as executive producers.

For fans, this means a favourite ritual is easier to reach. Viewers can pick broadcast or streaming without waiting for a replay.

ABC's previous listings put the live broadcast start at 8 p.m. ET, according to Billboard. Performance line-ups and further broadcast details are still to be announced.
