Alabama Shakes play 'Gimme All Your Love' at Soho Sessions
Alabama Shakes have shared a live performance of "Gimme All Your Love" filmed at the Soho Sessions in New York.
Rolling Stone exclusively presented the video. It was directed by Ehud Lazin.
The clip revisits a song first released in 2015. The band plays it live in a small room, with the camera held close on the performance.
The session was held in support of the GRAMMY Museum and music education. The museum runs learning programmes for young musicians and preserves music history.
The New York appearance included more than one song. The band also performed "Don't Wanna Fight," "Sound & Color," "Future People" and "Always Alright."
"Don't Wanna Fight" is linked to the album Sound & Color, according to the band's label ATO Records. The other songs come from across the band's catalogue of soul, rock and blues-rooted material.
What makes this stand out is the setting. The Soho Sessions format leaves little room to hide. For fans, this means a clear view of how the songs work live, from vocals to rhythm section.
