Phish will play its 100th concert at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 2, closing a four-night stand over New Year's Eve.

The band has listed Dec. 30, Dec. 31, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 in New York, NY, billed as a New Year's Run, according to the band's announcement. The Jan. 2 finale is confirmed as show number 100 at the arena. Phish

That is 32 years at one address. Phish first played Madison Square Garden on Dec. 30, 1994, Rolling Stone reported. The room has since become a regular New Year stop for the band and its touring audience.

The history includes one long test of stamina. In 2017, the band played a 13-show run at the Garden called the Baker's Dozen, performing 237 songs without repeating one.

To mark the coming 100th show, the band released a celebratory video. It features interviews with ushers, bartenders, and concession and merchandise vendors who work the building. It also shows the loose, circling way Phish fans dance at shows.

For fans, this means a tight window for tickets. Tickets for all four New York nights go on sale to the general public at noon on Oct. 16.

After New York, the band heads south. Phish will next headline Phish: Riviera Maya 2027 at Moon Palace Cancún in Mexico.

That festival is scheduled for Jan. 27, Jan. 28, Jan. 29 and Jan. 30. It is organised into eight sets from Phish, alongside DJ sets from James Murphy and Questlove and comedy by Fred Armisen, Rory Scovel and Beth Stelling.
