Madison Square Garden Entertainment reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of $217 million, up 37% from a year earlier. The company's Billboard report credits a large share of the growth to concerts, and one name stands out in those numbers.

A fiscal quarter is a three-month slice of a company's financial year. This one ended on Sept. 30. Within it, the company said an additional $30 million in revenue came from concerts, including Harry Styles' sold-out residency at its New York venues.

That residency is 30 dates long, according to the Associated Press. Sixteen of those nights fell inside the quarter. They were part of the New York leg of his Together, Together tour. The company describes the run as record-setting.

Chief executive David Collins called Styles' run "an additional positive on top of that underlying strength." The company's entertainment offerings revenue, which covers its venue and event business, reached $174.9 million, up 33% on a year earlier.

Profit also moved. Adjusted operating income, a measure that strips out certain one-off items to show how the core business performed, came in at $34.3 million. That was $27.2 million higher than the same quarter a year before.

Management pointed to three drivers: more concerts, higher revenue per show, and stronger sales of food and drink. Revenue per show is the money a single performance brings in across tickets, food, drink and other spending. More nights on sale and more spending per night both push the total up.

The company runs some of the best-known rooms in American entertainment. Its portfolio includes Madison Square Garden itself, the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. Radio City also stages its original production, the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, which has been a holiday tradition for more than 90 years.

Styles has played Madison Square Garden before. In 2022, during his Love on Tour, he performed a 15-night stint there. In January, the Associated Press reported that he had announced a 2026 global tour.

For a quarter that closed in September, the figures show how one long run of shows can move a company's totals. Each of those 16 nights was a room full of people with tickets, travel plans and a night out to pay for. Behind the percentages are the venue staff, crews and suppliers who work each show.
