Suno hires Ticketmaster executive Michael Chua to lead live experiences

Suno has hired former Ticketmaster executive Michael Chua as vice president and general manager of Suno Live Experiences.
The appointment was reported by Billboard on 8 October 2026. Chua will oversee operations of Songkick in the new role.
Songkick is a concert discovery platform, a service that lists live shows and alerts fans to dates on sale near them. Suno acquired it as part of its partnership with Warner Music Group.
Chua arrives with a ticketing CV. Before joining Suno, he was vice president of global business development and strategic partnerships at Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster is a division of Live Nation Entertainment.
That background covers deals and partnerships across live music. At Ticketmaster, his remit included global business development, which in this industry means striking and managing commercial agreements with venues, promoters and other platforms.
Chua is an alumnus of UCLA Anderson, the business school of the University of California, Los Angeles. A school profile published in 2024 traced his path into ticketing, according to UCLA Anderson.
For fans, this means a live-industry operator now sits at the top of Suno's live arm. Songkick's day-to-day operations fall under his watch. No further changes to the platform or the Warner partnership were detailed in the announcement.
Live experiences is a distinct line of business from recorded music and publishing. It covers concerts and touring, from discovery and ticketing through to the show itself. Putting a dedicated general manager in place gives that operation a single point of accountability.
