U2 have put Rosalía's name in a song title.

The Spanish singer told host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Wednesday night, Oct. 7, that the band's coming album includes “The Mirror Maker (Rosalía).” The track will appear on U2's upcoming album Carnaval De Luz, according to Billboard.

Rosalía said she first heard about it directly from Bono. He texted her about the new song and asked if certain Spanish words made sense.

One word stopped her. Bono wanted to use “marmolay.” She said she researched it and told him it did not exist in standard Spanish. She realised it was invented, and told him to feel free to invent his own language.

She called the dedication “insane” and “mind-blowing.” Then she broke into the chorus of U2's “With Or Without You.” The studio joined in.

The interview also looked ahead to a busy weekend. Rosalía discussed her upcoming Saturday Night Live gig, with host Shane Gillis. She said she tried to attend Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem on Sunday during rehearsal week but was turned away because the church was full.

Fallon also asked about her LUX tour, which includes on-stage confessionals involving celebrity guests. Rosalía talked through how those moments are organised.

LUX has had a strong chart run. The album debuted at No. 1 on five different Billboard charts at once, the weekly US rankings that track sales and streaming. Rosalía was also named Woman of the Year at the 2026 Billboard Latin Women in Music event.

The night ended with a game. Rosalía played charades with fellow guest Tate McRae. Fallon teamed with actor Linda Cardellini against Rosalía and McRae, in a segment the show later posted on YouTube as “Charades with ROSALÍA, Linda Cardellini and Tate McRae,” according to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

For viewers, it was a quick tour of her week. A new album still travelling, a live show built around audience confessions, an SNL date ahead, and now her name on a U2 track list.
