Billboard Latin Music Awards set for Oct. 22 live show from Miami

The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will broadcast live on Oct. 22 from the James L. Knight Center in Downtown Miami.
Actors Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza will host the ceremony. In the United States it will air on Telemundo and stream on Peacock, with additional U.S. access via Universo and the Telemundo app, according to Billboard. Viewers across Latin America and the Caribbean can watch through Telemundo Internacional.
Peso Pluma heads into the night as the leading finalist, with 17 entries. Three special honours have also been confirmed. Fuerza Regida will receive the Billboard Vanguard Award, Rosalía will receive the Hall of Fame Award and Rubén Blades will be honoured with the Billboard Icon Award.
The performance line-up spans pop, regional Mexican music, salsa, cumbia and urban sounds. Billboard lists Carlos Rivera, Chuyin, Elvis Crespo, Erick Brian, Ha*Ash, Jessi Uribe, Kapo, La Nueva Ola de la Cumbia, Manuel Turizo, Melymel, Nanpa Básico and Nella among the performers. The list also includes Ozuna, Pablo Alborán, Paola Jara, Pututi and Nesty, RIZA, SANTOS BRAVOS, Tito Double P, Tony Dize, Víctor Manuelle, Xavi and Yahritza y Su Esencia.
A separate group of presenters will hand out trophies during the broadcast. They include Adriana Monsalve, Ana Brenda Contreras, Ana Mena, Andrea Meza, Baby Rasta and Gringo, Clave Especial and Erick Elías. Gilberto Santa Rosa, Gregorio Pernía, Jacqueline Bracamontes, José Luis Rodríguez, Julio Vaqueiro, Lali, Los Gemelos, Luis Alfonso and Luis Omar Tapia are also listed.
Becky G, Ryan Castro and Lupillo Rivera appear on both the music and television sides of the industry, and all three are listed as presenters. Becky G will pull double duty that week. She will also take part in a “Superstar Q&A” during Billboard Latin Music Week, according to Billboard.
That industry week runs Oct. 19 to 21 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach. It brings artists, executives and songwriters together for panels, workshops and live conversations ahead of the awards. Rubén Blades, Anthony Ramos, Lenny Tavárez and Tito Nieves are among those confirmed for the week’s line-up.
For fans, this means three nights of industry talk followed by a live awards show to close the week. Short set. Quick speeches. A long list of names to watch.
