Talk to Me Universe Expands With VR Series I Let You In

Talk to Me is leaving the flat screen for a headset.
I Let You In, a six-part immersive horror series set in the Talk to Me universe, will play exclusively on Meta's Quest headsets and VR glasses, as reported by Variety. It was designed specifically for those devices. That puts the viewer inside the story rather than in a cinema seat.
The move follows a breakout run for the original film. Talk to Me premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023 and earned more than US$90 million at the worldwide box office, according to Variety. The new series stays in that world but is built as a separate story for immersive viewing.
The cast brings together Aubri Ibrag, Charlotte Maggi, Sofia Hublitz, Julio Peña, Raff Law and Charlie Hiscock. Craig William Macneill directed all six episodes. Trent Atherton wrote the scripts from a pitch he created with Darren Brandl, as reported by Variety.
The series was commissioned by Meta and produced by XRTV. XRTV is a newly formed immersive studio founded by Brandl and Jack Davis. The set-up favours stories made for headsets from the start.
Filming of all six episodes wrapped in Spain, with the show in post-production at the time of the report. The production was shot fully in 3D and described as a fully immersive XR experience, a term that covers virtual and mixed-reality viewing, according to Variety. That approach captures depth for headset playback.
Viewers will need Meta hardware to watch. Alongside current Quest headsets, the series is planned for Meta's VR glasses, which are set to launch in spring 2027, as reported by Variety. No wider release in cinemas or on other platforms has been announced.
For fans, this means the next chapter will not play in cinemas. It arrives as a headset-only story, six episodes long and made to be looked around, not just looked at.
