CBS puts a new vampire houseshare on television on Thursday, Oct. 8, with the premiere of sitcom Eternally Yours at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+, according to Variety.

The slot places the series in CBS' Fall 2026 primetime line-up, as detailed by Paramount+. Viewers can watch live on the broadcast network or stream it on the company's streaming platform.

The programme centres on a vampire coven in Seattle living together as supernatural roommates. CBS describes Charles and Liz as a vampire couple stuck in a rut after 500 years, whose story turns with the arrival of their daughter's human boyfriend, in its synopsis on CBS. The project was earlier described in trade reports as "an eternal love story about two vampires," per Variety.

It comes from the same creative team as CBS's Ghosts but is not officially a spinoff, meaning a new series taken from an existing one, according to Variety. Joe Port and Joe Weisman developed the American Ghosts from the British original and showrun the remake, meaning they oversee day-to-day production. They conceived and pitched Eternally Yours before Ghosts.

Port and Weisman serve as writers and executive producers on Eternally Yours, who guide the creative direction and manage production, per Variety. CBS first ordered Eternally Yours as a pilot, a trial episode used to test a potential series, according to Variety.

Ed Weeks plays Charles and Allegra Edwards plays Liz. Helen J. Shen plays Emma, the couple's adopted daughter, and Jaren Lewison plays Max, a human character who provides voiceover.

Parker Young plays Jesse, a 1980s personal trainer vampire, and Rose Abdoo plays Phyllis, Jesse's human wife. Early pilot reporting also described a character named Mort, a human-vampire hybrid who can read the family dog's mind, per Variety.

For viewers keeping track, this means one creative team now has two supernatural comedies organised around very different households. One is built around ghosts. The other is built around vampires who never age out of family life.
