Jeff Hiller Checks In as a Troublemaking Vampire on CBS Comedy Eternally Yours

Jeff Hiller is moving in with television's longest-married vampires.
The Emmy winner has joined CBS comedy Eternally Yours as a guest star, meaning a short stint rather than a full-time role, in a casting first reported as an exclusive by Deadline. He will play Aldrict, an old-world vampire with a long history with Liz and a reputation as a bit of a troublemaker.
Hiller will appear across multiple episodes. His run starts with the third episode.
The series premieres on Thursday, October 8. That date gives viewers just over a week to wait.
Eternally Yours centres on Liz, played by Allegra Edwards, and Charles, played by Ed Weeks. They are vampires. They have been married for 500 years.
The household fills out with Jaren Lewison as Max, a human, and Helen J Shen as Emma, the daughter of Liz and Charles.
Joe Port and Joe Wiseman created the series. They also serve as showrunners, the writers in charge of day-to-day production, and executive producers. Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Jason Wang are executive producers alongside them. CBS Studios is the studio.
For Hiller, it is a familiar room. He previously played a server named Jeff in an episode of Port and Wiseman's CBS series Ghosts. He has also appeared in CBS comedy Elsbeth, according to Deadline.
His recent run has been busy. In September 2025, he won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for HBO's Somebody Somewhere. He was also nominated for Outstanding Guest Star in a Drama Series for Apple's Pluribus.
Elsewhere, Hiller plays Dale in Widow's Bay. Dale works in the town hall for Mayor Tom Loftis, played by Matthew Rhys. Hiller was lifted from guest star to series regular, meaning a full-time cast member, for season two, Deadline reported.
What makes this stand out for fans is the history baked into the part. Aldrict has crossed paths with Liz several times over the centuries. That leaves a lot of old behaviour to unpack.
