Ghanaian singer-songwriter King Promise has teamed up with Chelsea FC on a new track titled “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)”.

The song arrived alongside a mini-documentary, Billboard reported on 8 October 2026. It is described as a love letter to the London club and an ode to its supporters across Africa.

Fans at Stamford Bridge will hear it all season. “Can’t Tame Us” will feature in the playlist at Chelsea fixtures throughout the campaign. The release forms part of the club’s “London to the World” campaign.

The music video was shot in Ghana. It was directed by Derrick Arthur and filmed around the Rent Paid Football Tournament in Accra and at Nungua SDA Park, according to Chelsea FC. The tournament is King Promise’s own community football event.

Rent Paid was set up by the singer to raise money for local charities, including the Nungua Orphanage. This year’s edition had an extra draw for Chelsea fans. The club brought its new home kit to Africa for the first time at the tournament, giving supporters in Ghana an early look.

The mini-documentary follows that connection. It focuses on Chelsea’s engagement with its African fanbase and was filmed at Stamford Bridge and at grounds, schools and parks across Nungua.

For King Promise, the link is personal. He watched Chelsea as a kid in Ghana before later watching the Blues at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea FC said he has now brought ‘Can’t Tame Us’ to the stadium itself, closing the circle from television screen to the ground.

What makes this stand out is where it was made. Football anthems are usually filmed in stadiums. This one was built around street games, schoolyards and a charity tournament, with the new shirt carried into the crowd rather than unveiled under lights.
