Loretta Lynn's Van Lear Rose returns to streaming, CD and vinyl on November 13, Third Man Records has confirmed.

The 2004 album that Lynn made with Jack White will be back on streaming services for the first time since it was pulled in 2021, according to Pitchfork. The label will release it in vinyl and CD formats on the same date. Streaming, CD and vinyl will all arrive together on November 13, 2026, according to Third Man Records.

The new version is called Van Lear Rose Expanded. It adds one bonus track, "Just to Have You Back." That song was previously only available to members of the label's Vault subscription series, according to Third Man Records.

Van Lear Rose was a comeback record. It arrived in 2004, decades into Lynn's career as a country singer and songwriter, and paired her voice and writing with White as producer and collaborator. Every song on the album was written by Lynn alone.

The tracklist includes "Portland, Oregon," her duet with White, and "God Makes No Mistakes." Those two songs were part of the original album. They remain at the centre of the reissue.

The record won the Grammy for Best Country Album. The prize was presented at the 2005 ceremony. "Portland, Oregon" also won the Grammy for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals, the category for a joint vocal performance.

For listeners, this means a five-year gap closes. Anyone who searched for Van Lear Rose on a streaming app since 2021 found it missing. From November 13, the album can be streamed in full again. Collectors get a choice as well, between a standard vinyl reissue and the expanded vinyl and CD editions.

Third Man has stayed close to the album for more than a decade. The label made Van Lear Rose its Vault Package #24 in 2015, a quarterly release for subscribing members. That package helped keep the record in print on vinyl. The November edition now brings that history together, with the main album back in wide circulation and "Just to Have You Back" available beyond the membership for the first time.
