Audrey Hobert has released a self-directed video for “Phoebe” on 8 October 2026. She directed the clip herself, with Will Noyce credited as producer. Rolling Stone reported the release, with the production credit shared on Instagram.

The clip is built from short, comic set pieces. Hobert tosses a memoir manuscript titled The Story of My Life into a fire. She then sits with a coffee in front of a tombstone that reads “Hopes n Dreams.” Later she goes fishing and reels in a hundred-dollar bill.

“Phoebe” is taken from Who’s the Clown, Hobert’s debut album. A debut is a first full-length album, the release that sets up touring, press and chart history. Hobert has now marked the one-year anniversary of that album with a special vinyl edition, a separate pressing aimed at collectors and fans who buy physical copies.

Her breakthrough on the charts came with “Sue Me,” which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart. A chart debut means a first appearance on that ranking. Hobert also appeared on The Tonight Show in October 2025, a network television slot that puts a new act in front of a broad late-night audience.

An audio version of “Phoebe” has been online for a year. It was posted on 8 October 2025 through AudreyHobertVEVO, according to YouTube. Her official channel also carries other clips, including ‘Thirst Trap (Official Video)’, listed on YouTube.

The new video arrives as Hobert prepares to open for Charli XCX early next year. Charli XCX announced a 2027 UK and Europe arena tour with Hobert on the bill, as reported by Billboard on 11 September 2026. The run kicks off on 13 February in Dublin. Dublin is first.

For fans, this means two things at once. There is a new video to watch now, a year after the audio first appeared. And there are arena dates ahead, with Hobert playing support slots across the UK and Europe from February.
