Riyadh fashion school adds full degrees from 2027

Fashion students in Riyadh will soon be able to earn full degrees without leaving the city.
Istituto Marangoni, the international fashion school behind the Riyadh campus, is adding bachelor's and master's programmes to an offer that started with diplomas and professional courses, Women's Wear Daily. The campus opened in September 2025. Applications for the new degrees stay open until Nov. 4, with the semester due to begin in January 2027.
The undergraduate list has four tracks. They are Fashion Design and Accessories, Fashion Communication and Image, Fashion Management, and Digital Communication. Each covers a different route into the industry, from making clothes to promoting them and running the business around them.
At graduate level there is a single offer. It is a master's degree in Fashion and Luxury Brand Management, focused on how fashion and luxury labels are run.
The move builds on a formal partnership. The Saudi Fashion Commission, the public body that supports the kingdom's fashion sector, signed a memorandum of understanding — a written cooperation agreement — with Istituto Marangoni in 2024. The degree expansion was announced by Prince Bader bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Culture and chairman of the Fashion Commission's board of directors.
There is funding help for local students. The Riyadh campus has been recognised by Royal Order as an approved institution for domestic scholarships under the Cultural Scholarship Program. That means eligible Saudi students can apply for state cultural funding to study there.
For students, this means a shorter journey. A design education that once required a move abroad can now start and finish in Riyadh.
