Lorde will close her Virgin album cycle with two final performances in Arizona and Texas on Oct. 9 and 10.

The singer is scheduled to play FORM Arcosanti in Arizona on Oct. 9, followed by Austin City Limits in Texas on Oct. 10, according to Billboard. She described the two dates as “an exit ceremony for this album” in an Instagram Story posted on Oct. 8. The run ends in Texas.

In that post, Lorde wrote that the finale “also feels like a beginning” and thanked fans for making the run the most inspiring tour she has been on. She signed off with the line “capture it remember it”.

That phrase comes from the title track of Taylor Swift’s 2008 album Fearless. Lorde did not explain the reference further in the post.

Virgin is Lorde’s fourth studio album. It was released on June 27 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart, in July 2025. Her previous album was Solar Power.

The singer launched the Ultrasound World Tour, organised in support of Virgin, with Blood Orange and the Japanese House as support acts, according to Rolling Stone. She also performed the album in full during a surprise set at Glastonbury. ‘Hammer’, the album’s opening track, was released as the final single before the record arrived.

For fans, this means the Arizona and Texas dates are framed as a farewell to this chapter, not just another festival stop. Lorde finalised the point herself. One year after release, she shared 49 demos titled ‘Xrays’ with a personal note about making the album.
