Becky G and Tokischa join cast of Gina Rodriguez's House of Guerrero

Becky G and Tokischa have joined the cast of House of Guerrero, the boxing drama now in production in California.
The casting was confirmed by Billboard on 9 October. Filming is under way.
Becky G plays Maya Alvarado. Tokischa plays Xochitl Romero. It is Tokischa's first role in a film. Carlos Sanson Jr. plays Alex Guerrero, a central member of the Guerrero family at the heart of the story.
The film is the feature directorial debut of Gina Rodriguez. Rodriguez also stars as Paloma Guerrero. George Lopez plays Alejandro Guerrero and Rosario Dawson plays Elsa Guerrero.
The wider ensemble includes Lisa Vidal, Aaron Dominguez, Jesse Garcia, Edwin Hodge, Emilio Rivera, Adam Rodriguez and Javon Walton, as reported by Deadline. Their parts were announced in late September as production built out the supporting cast around the family.
House of Guerrero is described as a boxing drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is produced by Wayfarer Studios, 1Community and I Can And I Will Productions. Rodriguez is producing alongside Justin Baldoni, her former co-star on Jane the Virgin. Shooting is taking place in Los Angeles and California's Imperial Valley.
The project will get an early public outing at 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week. Carlos Sanson Jr., Tokischa and producer Scott Budnick are set to discuss the film during a Film and Music panel. The week, organised by Billboard, is scheduled for 19 to 22 October at Faena Forum in Miami Beach.
Becky G will also appear at the event in her own right. She is listed for a Superstar Q&A, a separate conversation about her music career.
For fans, this means a quick crossover from stage to screen. Both singers arrive with established music audiences, and the Miami panel will offer the first detailed discussion of how their characters fit into the Guerrero family story.
