Grupo Duelo to lead Los No. 1s panel at Billboard Latin Music Week
Grupo Duelo will lead the “Los No. 1s” panel on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Billboard Latin Music Week 2026. Singer and leader Oscar Iván Treviño will front the session at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, Florida, focused on traditional regional Mexican music Billboard.
The booking follows a career first for the group. Duelo landed two No. 1 hits in the same year for the first time with “Te Cura El Tiempo” and “Para Que Ya No Duela”. Both songs come from the group’s 2026 album Gravedad.
The numbers behind the invitation run deep. Duelo has logged 52 entries on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, the ranking that tracks radio plays for the genre, including 15 top 10s and six No. 1s. Its album Necesito Más De Ti spent two weeks at No. 1 on Regional Mexican Albums in 2009.
The panel also arrives during a busy business stretch. The group signed with Warner Music in February 2026 after years operating as an independent act under La Bonita Records. It then started its first arena tour, more than 40 cities across the United States and Mexico in partnership with Live Nation, with a date scheduled for Oct. 10 at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City.
Billboard Latin Music Week 2026 will run Oct. 19–22 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach Billboard. The programme is organised around panels, Q&As and showcases. Registration is now open.
Other names confirmed for the week include Rubén Blades, Anthony Ramos, Lenny Tavárez and Tito Nieves. Executives Claudia Ochoa, Cristina Perpiñá-Robert, Ghazi, Jorge “Pepo” Ferradas and Miguel Ramírez are also listed among panelists. An Evening Programming Artist Showcase is set for Faena Theater on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
For fans, this means a rare chance to hear how a long-running norteño group handles radio success, a major-label move and a large-scale tour in the same year. Treviño is expected to discuss that run in front of an industry audience in Miami.
