Rawayana has appointed Carlos Salas to lead its management alongside Brocoli Records partner Jeff D. Fontanez, with the news announced on Oct. 9. The shift puts a long-term insider at the centre of the Venezuelan band's business as its world tour heads to the United States.

Salas first joined Brocoli Records as an intern in 2016. He will now run day-to-day management with Fontanez, meaning the pair will oversee scheduling, negotiations and career planning. Billboard reported the appointment as part of a wider update on the band's team, with the pair taking charge with immediate effect.

The move ends a three-year period in which Rawayana were co-managed by Sound of Light and Brocoli Records. Sound of Light and the band parted ways amicably in July. Brocoli Records is the band's own company and remains at the heart of the new structure.

Rawayana has also signed with United Talent Agency, the US talent organisation known as UTA, for global representation. The agreement spans touring, media, filmed entertainment, brand partnerships and more. In practical terms, UTA will find opportunities and negotiate deals for the group across live shows, screen projects and commercial tie-ups.

The business changes follow a strong run of releases. ¿Quién Trae Las Cornetas? (2023) delivered the band's first wins at both the Latin Grammys and the Grammy Awards. Rawayana then made ASTROPICAL (2025), a joint album with Bomba Estéreo, before releasing ¿Dónde Es El After? (2026), described as the band's biggest album debut to date.

That 2026 album earned Rawayana a first nomination for album of the year at the Latin Grammys. The set's single "Inglés En Miami" gave the band its first No. 1 on Billboard Latin Airplay, the US chart that tracks plays on Latin radio stations.

The tour schedule keeps the new team busy at once. The world tour reaches the US on Oct. 15 with a date in San Francisco, according to Billboard. Five days later, on Oct. 20, the band will take part in Billboard Latin Music Week in the panel "Building the Tour With Rawayana" presented by Live Nation.

For fans, this means a familiar face stepping forward rather than a reset. Salas has been inside the operation for a decade. He now leads it into the band's busiest season yet, with the US dates and the Latin Music Week appearance an early test of that set-up.
