Sipur Studios Opens London Office, Builds Slate Around Nana

Sipur Studios has opened a London office as it expands beyond its Israel base, Variety reported on 9 Oct 2026.
The company describes itself as an international studio focused on high-end scripted drama, unscripted shows and documentaries. It is also billed as Emmy-winning on its own channels.
Sipur was co-founded seven years ago by Emilio Schenker with investor Gideon Tadmor. Shari Redstone later joined as chair after selling Paramount Global to David Ellison's Skydance in 2024. Ludovic Attal has joined as president from Amazon MGM Studios.
The studio has a track record with large partners. Paramount picked up the rights to its Oct. 7 documentary We Will Dance Again. Sipur also signed a first-look deal with MGM in 2019, meaning MGM got first refusal on projects the studio developed.
New work includes Nana, an upcoming project from director Olivier Dahan. It is co-produced by Marvelous Productions with ARP Sélection. ARP Sélection will handle French distribution, meaning it will manage the film's cinema release in France.
Another upcoming title is Blood Brothers, a documentary from director Yariv Mozer. It follows rival Iranian and Israeli Olympic judo players who form a friendship. It is produced with Fox Entertainment Studio and Fulwell.
What makes this stand out is the mix. Scripted films, documentaries and a London base point to a studio chasing stories in more than one market. For viewers, that means more international co-productions reaching local screens.
