Wickham, Queen and Lake take three awards each at Dove Awards

Phil Wickham, Josiah Queen and Brandon Lake each won three trophies at the 57th annual GMA Dove Awards, splitting the night's biggest hauls. The ceremony was held on Oct. 6 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and aired on Oct. 9 on TBN and TBN+ Billboard.
Wickham was named artist of the year. His album Song of the Saints took worship album of the year. He also won children's recorded song of the year for "Follow The Light".
Queen took song of the year for "Dusty Bibles". The same track won pop/contemporary recorded song of the year. His album Mt. Zion won recorded music packaging of the year, the prize for album artwork and design.
Lake was named songwriter of the year in the artist category. His album King of Hearts won pop/contemporary album of the year. He shared country/roots recorded song of the year with Lainey Wilson for "The Jesus I Know Now".
Tasha Cobbs Leonard won two awards. Her self-titled album Tasha was named contemporary gospel album of the year. Her song "Church" won traditional gospel recorded song of the year. Jamie MacDonald was named new artist of the year.
Tauren Wells hosted the show for the fourth consecutive year. The Dove Awards are presented by the Gospel Music Association, which says its mission is to expose, promote and celebrate the gospel through music.
Wickham had entered the night as the top male nominee with nine nominations, while CeCe Winans led the female nominees with seven Gospel Music Association. Winans, Lake, Queen and Lauren Daigle were among the other leading nominees announced in July.
What makes this stand out is how tightly the wins were grouped. Three artists finished level on three awards each. For fans catching up after the broadcast, that means no single sweep, but a clear top tier across worship, pop and songwriting categories.
