Calvin Harris added to Head Trip day two after lightning ends night one early

Calvin Harris will play the second and final day of Head Trip on Sunday, Oct. 11, after storms shut down opening night before he could take the stage.
The addition to the Sunday line-up was confirmed for the one-time-only dance festival, Billboard reported. Harris had been Saturday night's scheduled headliner and did not perform before the site closed early.
Head Trip is staged by promoter Goldenvoice on a single stage on the field at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. That is the same desert site that hosts Coachella.
Night one, on Saturday, Oct. 10, ended at 9 p.m. after a lightning warning linked to Tropical Storm Rachel moving through Southern California. The National Weather Service had warned of lightning in the area, according to The Desert Sun. Music stopped mid-set during Fisher and Chris Lake's joint performance as Under Construction, while they were playing Lake's 2022 track "Turn off the Lights."
Sunday's programme will start 25 minutes earlier than first planned. DJ Harvey opens at 3:05 p.m., followed by The Blessed Madonna, a joint back-to-back set from Dom Dolla and Kettama, Skrillex, Harris and Swedish House Mafia.
For fans watching from outside Indio, there is another way in. Head Trip is streaming free on Apple Music, with further livestreams on Apple Music's TikTok, Twitch and YouTube accounts.
That gives Saturday ticket-holders and latecomers a second chance to catch Harris. Short night, quick reset, full Sunday.
