Kim Jones is launching KIM JONES, his own signature label set to debut for fall 2027. WWD

The name is simple. The plan is detailed. The first collection will land in mid-2027 exclusively on kimjones.com, sold direct-to-consumer, meaning straight to shoppers rather than through department stores.

The online launch comes first. A first physical store will follow in October at Central Yards, a retail development in Hong Kong. It will be a two-level, 4,000-square-foot flagship, a brand-owned showcase store, and will anchor the revival of his namesake line as a lifestyle brand. The Business of Fashion

The range will include men's and women's wear. The New York Times Production will be predominantly in Japan, with leather goods made in Italy.

Jones plans to sell through selected retail partners alongside his own channels. He also plans further stores across Asia after Hong Kong, with the Hong Kong opening to be a standalone store rather than a concession inside another shop. Vogue

The launch follows his departure from Dior, the French luxury house, in early 2025. He had served as artistic director of Dior Men for seven years. He formerly served as creative director at Fendi, the Italian luxury house.

Since leaving Dior, Jones has kept busy. He undertook a capsule, a small limited collection, for Aman, the luxury hospitality group. He collaborated with Avatrand, the Chinese electric carmaker, and launched Areal, a premium line, with Bosideng, the Chinese down outerwear specialist.

What makes this stand out is the location and the set-up. Jones hinted at the new collection in December during the WWD x SJ Global Fashion and Business Conference in Hong Kong. For fans, this means a wait until next summer for the first online drop, then a first chance to walk into the brand in Hong Kong in autumn.
