Peterborough stun Leicester as pressure grows on Martin

Peterborough United beat Leicester City 3-1 at the King Power Stadium on 10 October, piling pressure on Foxes head coach Russell Martin.
Owura Edwards gave the visitors the lead after 12 minutes. Harry Leonard made it 2-0. Then Warren O'Hora's own goal put Peterborough 3-0 up by half-time, according to BBC Sport.
Leicester pulled one back after the break. It was not enough to change the noise inside the ground.
It was Leicester's third home defeat of the season. The result left them in the bottom half of League One, the third tier of English football.
That is unfamiliar territory for Leicester. They arrived in League One after back-to-back relegations. The drop has been steep and fast.
Some home supporters chanted for Martin's dismissal during the defeat. Martin answered bluntly after the match. Sacking him would offer "no quick fix", he said.
He also vowed to fight on as Leicester boss after the 1-3 loss, as reported by Yahoo Sport.
Midfielder John Lundstram said the team played with "anxiety" at home. It is easy to hear why. Every misplaced pass drew a groan. Every Peterborough attack felt bigger than it was.
Leicester's hierarchy is standing by Martin for now. Sporting director James McCarron said he was "totally convinced" Martin is the right manager for the club.
For fans, this means a strange split. The boardroom is preaching patience. The stands are asking for change.
For Peterborough, it was a day to remember. The trip to Leicester was Robbie Savage's first league game as manager.
Savage had started his reign with a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town Under-21s in midweek, according to Leicester City. This was different. Bigger ground. Bigger test. Same result.
Savage later thanked the travelling supporters for helping the players through the 3-1 win, in an interview with club channel Posh+.
What makes this stand out is the shift in mood around the two clubs. Peterborough left Filbert Way with momentum and a new manager bounce. Leicester left their own ground stuck in that difficult place between backing a project and wanting it to stop hurting.
