Matt Henry will host a one-night Christmas concert at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London on 7 December 2026 to raise money for housing for touring performers. The show is called The Actors House Christmas Songbook. Tickets will cost between £30 and £120. WhatsOnStage

The night is built around the 12 days of Christmas. There will be 12 acts on the bill. The programme mixes musical theatre numbers with festive songs.

Beverley Knight, Jess Folley and Oliver Tompsett are confirmed so far. Further performers are still to be announced. Henry will host the evening himself.

Henry founded The Actors House in 2025. The organisation provides safe and affordable accommodation for actors and creatives touring the UK. Touring can mean long stretches away from home, moving from town to town. The idea is simple. A secure bed at a price people working on tour can afford.

Its first property is The Bradford House. The house has seven bedrooms. It has been consistently fully booked since opening. That level of demand is why organisers want a second house.

All proceeds from the December concert will go towards funding that next house. The date is 7 December 2026. It is a straight fundraiser. Every ticket sold helps pay for the expansion.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday 19 October. The Gillian Lynne is a West End theatre, meaning a large commercial house in London's main theatre district. A one-night concert like this fills the building for a single evening.

Henry is an Olivier Award winner. The Olivier Awards are London's annual theatre awards, run by the Society of London Theatre. He currently stars in The Devil Wears Prada in the West End.

Ian McKellen is an ambassador for The Actors House. The veteran stage and screen actor lends his name to the project.

What makes this stand out is the direct link between stage and stay. The money does not go into a general pot. It is earmarked for bricks, beds and a roof over the next touring company.

For fans, this means carols and show tunes with a practical result. Sing loud. Help house a touring company. No reviews. Just songs.
